Your Role:
Deliver engaging and creative music lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4
Lead extracurricular groups including choirs, bands, and ensembles
Encourage exploration of various instruments, music technology, and styles
Prepare students for assessments, performances, and exams
Track and support student progress across a range of abilities
Collaborate with staff to integrate music into school life and events
Communicate regularly with parents and carers about student development
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent - (Desirable but not essential)
Previous experience teaching music in a secondary school
Proficiency in at least one instrument or strong vocal ability
A deep love for music and a natural ability to engage and inspire students
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A team player excited to contribute to a supportive and creative community
