Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and high-achieving all-girls secondary school in Northampton to recruit a full-time Teacher of Music for the Autumn Term 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and engaging music specialist to join a supportive department and deliver high-quality lessons with all planning and resources already prepared.
The Role
Start date: Monday 1st September 2025
End date: Friday 19th December 2025
Full-time, fixed-term cover role (term-time only)
KS3 and KS4 Music lessons
All materials and schemes of work fully planned – ready to deliver
Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement in lessons
Potential to support extra-curricular rehearsals or clubs (optional)
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a confident, enthusiastic teacher who can bring music lessons to life and maintain excellent classroom management.
QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
Experience teaching Music at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education
Ability to build quick rapport with students and contribute to a positive school environment
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
