Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS A progressive and highly respected secondary school in Gloucester is seeking an inspiring Music Teacher to join their thriving department. Role Description You will be responsible for teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, delivering a varied curriculum that includes performance, composition, and music technology. You will encourage students’ musical development through ensembles, concerts, and extracurricular opportunities. Key Responsibilities * Deliver engaging and challenging music lessons tailored to all abilities. * Lead and develop school ensembles, bands, and choirs. * Organise and participate in school concerts, trips, and community events. * Incorporate music technology and contemporary styles into the curriculum. * Contribute to departmental planning and assessment procedures. Candidate Profile * Music degree or equivalent and qualified teacher status. * Experience teaching secondary school Music is essential. * Proficient in at least one musical instrument; experience with music technology an advantage. * Energetic, creative, and committed to student development. * Strong organisational and communication skills.
