A vibrant and high-achieving secondary school in High Wycombe is seeking an inspiring Music Teacher to join their thriving Performing Arts Department. The Role
You will teach Music to students from KS3–KS4, with the possibility of A-Level and BTEC Music at KS5 for the right candidate. The school is well-equipped with music technology and encourages live performance, composition, and cross-cultural exploration of musical traditions.
Key Duties:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop performance, composition, and music appreciation

Direct school ensembles and lead performances throughout the academic year
*
Promote inclusive music-making and support individual instrumental development
*
Collaborate with visiting peripatetic teachers and arts professionals
Candidate Requirements

QTS and a degree in Music or Music Education
*
Strong understanding of a broad musical repertoire and teaching techniques
*
Competent with music technology (DAWs, notation software, recording)
*
Committed to extra-curricular provision and whole-school events
