The school is seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join their vibrant Performing Arts department. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for both experienced educators and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to grow in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role:
As a Music Teacher, you will inspire students across Key Stages 3 to 5, fostering a love for performance, composition, and musical appreciation. You’ll play a key role in shaping the musical culture of the school through engaging lessons and extracurricular opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Music across KS3–KS5, including GCSE and A-Level
Plan and deliver dynamic, inclusive lessons that cater to a range of abilities
Support students in developing performance and composition skills
Lead or contribute to extracurricular activities such as ensembles, concerts, and school productions
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and enrichment projects
Uphold the school’s values and contribute positively to the wider community
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred)
Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for music education
Ability to inspire and engage students of all backgrounds
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
