Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a vibrant secondary school in Sheffield to recruit a Music Technician to support their dynamic Music Department.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of music education by:
Assisting with the setup and maintenance of musical instruments and audio equipment.
Supporting teachers and students during practical lessons and performances.
Managing and organising music resources and equipment.
Ensuring health and safety standards are met in all technical setups.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for music and technical expertise to contribute to a thriving educational environment. The role may be offered on a part-time basis, depending on the candidate's availability and the school's needs.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with music technology and equipment (e.g., mixing desks, microphones, amplifiers, software).
Strong organisational and communication skills.
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning.
Previous experience in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential.
