South West (Field-Based)

Are you a strategic Account Manager with experience in foodservice, hospitality, wholesale or food supply?

We're recruiting for an exciting National Account Manager opportunity with a well-established and growing organisation that supports some of the UK's leading hospitality and catering businesses.

This is not a desk-based account management role. You'll be out with customers, building strong relationships, understanding their business, identifying opportunities and becoming a trusted commercial partner. You'll inherit a large, established national account portfolio, giving you the opportunity to focus on developing existing relationships rather than chasing new business.

The Role

You'll manage a portfolio of major multi-site customers, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure they receive exceptional service while identifying opportunities to increase value, improve efficiencies and strengthen long-term partnerships.

This is a highly visible role where you'll spend your time visiting customers, leading business reviews and collaborating with internal teams to deliver outstanding account management.

What You'll Be Doing

  * Managing and developing a portfolio of large national and multi-site accounts.

  * Building relationships with senior decision-makers across customer businesses.

  * Conducting regular customer visits and business reviews.

  * Identifying commercial opportunities to grow existing accounts.

  * Working closely with internal teams and supplier partners to deliver exceptional service.

  * Supporting customer retention through proactive account management.

  * Acting as a trusted advisor and becoming an extension of your customers' businesses.

About You

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys relationship management and thrives on helping customers succeed.

You'll ideally have:

  * Experience as a National Account Manager, Key Account Manager or Strategic Account Manager.

  * A background within foodservice, hospitality, wholesale or food supply is essential.

  * Experience managing large, complex or multi-site customer accounts.

  * Strong commercial awareness and the ability to spot growth opportunities.

  * Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

  * A consultative approach with confidence presenting to senior decision-makers.

  * The willingness to travel nationally as this is a field-based role.
