If so, this could be an excellent opportunity to join a growing business where your organisational, commercial and coordination skills will be highly valued.
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a National Contracts Coordinator to join their West Midlands-based operation, supporting projects across the UK and Northern Ireland.
This is a varied role that sits at the heart of the business, coordinating activity between clients, commercial teams, operations, design, manufacturing and site teams to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, efficiently and to programme.
You don't need to come from a specific industry. What's important is that you understand how to coordinate projects, manage information, communicate with different departments and keep multiple tasks moving towards completion.
The Role
As National Contracts Coordinator, you will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from initial enquiry and tender through to design, manufacture, installation, completion and final handover.
You will act as a key point of contact internally, ensuring that project information is accurate, deadlines are monitored and the various teams involved have what they need to deliver successfully.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied, fast-paced role and is confident dealing with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate tender enquiries, quotations, reviews and follow-up activities.
* Maintain accurate project and tender records, ensuring information is kept up to date.
* Support the commercial team with contract administration, variations, applications and project documentation.
* Coordinate documentation, approvals, revisions and project information throughout the project lifecycle.
* Work closely with design teams to coordinate drawings, revisions and technical information.
* Liaise with manufacturing/production teams to ensure programmes align with project requirements.
* Coordinate site requirements including labour, deliveries, access and installation programmes.
* Assist with project-specific documentation including RAMS, quality records and compliance information.
* Monitor project progress and ensure agreed deadlines and contractual requirements are being met.
* Assist with maintaining accurate financial and commercial records throughout the project.
* Help collate information required for client queries, contract discussions and potential disputes.
* Compile O&M information, completion documentation and final handover packs.
* Attend internal project meetings and ensure actions are recorded, followed up and completed.
* Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal departments.
* Provide general project and contract support to the Commercial and Operations teams.
