They are looking for a passionate and proactive Development Officer to join our team and help grow their work at the community level. The Role As a Development Officer, you will play a key role in building partnerships, supporting regional teams, and empowering communities to deliver impactful programs. You will work closely with local teams, stakeholders, and funders to identify opportunities, secure resources, and ensure the sustainability of our activities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by supporting communities and advancing the mission of a values-driven organization. Key Responsibilities * Build and maintain relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and partners. * Design and support the implementation of community-based programs that address local needs. * Deliver training and workshops to enhance the skills of staff and volunteers. * Identify funding opportunities and support teams with grant applications and fundraising strategies. * Monitor and report on the impact of programs and activities. * Collaborate with regional and national teams to align initiatives with organizational goals. About You We’re looking for someone who is proactive, community-focused, and aligned with their mission and values. Skills and Experience: * Experience in community development, program management, or a similar role. * Strong understanding of capacity building and community engagement principles. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Knowledge of grant writing and fundraising strategies. * Strong organizational and project management abilities. Personal Attributes: * Passion for creating positive change in communities. * Commitment to the values and mission of the charity, with an understanding of Anglican principles. * Flexibility to travel regularly and work occasional evenings or weekends.
