Our client is an industry leader providing financial software for thousands of customers.
They are seeking an experienced and dynamic National (UK) Sales Manager to drive their new software product release sales efforts across the Uk region.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SaaS or financial software sales, and the ability to drive revenue growth by establishing and nurturing client relationships.
Responsibilities:
As our client SAAS/Software Sales and Business Development Manager, you will focuses on developing new customer accounts, expanding relationships with existing clients, and implementing business strategies to position software solutions in the banking and financial sectors. The manager will oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and ongoing customer engagement. As the business matures, the candidate will have an opportunity to grow into the sales track or the business development track based on their career interest.
About You:
* You will be a confident communicator, self-starter, and adept at dealing with all levels of clients, self-motivated to find the influencers and purchase decision makers for my clients software product. You will relish meeting and beating sales targets.
* As a ‘hunter’ you are a driven and resilient salesperson experienced in proactively prospecting and closing new sales opportunities.
* You may already be working in a high performing SAAS or software sales role in the financial services industry or you might have experience and knowledge of data systems including Bloomberg or London Stock Exchange data..
* The role will also work closely with our clients teams in Marketing, IT, Events, Data and Analytics to ensure we deliver a joined-up programme of sales activities.
* Ideally 3+ years of experience in software sales/business development
* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and developing successful go-to-market strategies.
* Experience selling to executive management and C-level stakeholders.
* Strong strategic thinking, business planning, and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Quarterly sales forecast accuracy
* Number of customer visits and solution demonstrations
* Value of sales opportunities created quarterly
* Growth of software revenue streams
* Customer success and retention metrics
