REED Engineering are working with a fast-growing engineering company.
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated NDT Technician to join our growing team. This role involves conducting in-house and on-site NDT inspections on forgings, weldments and general engineering components, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an NDT Technician at the company. the NDT Technician will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing on forgings, wrought products, welds, plates, pipes, and castings.
✔ Minimum PCN Level 2 certification in Ultrasonic Inspection (UT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI) - UT IS ESENTIAL
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation
✔ Right to work in the UK
Desirable Skills & Certifications:
PCN Level 2 (ISO 9712) certification in Visual Inspection (VI)
CSWIP 3.1 certification would be advantageous
Strong understanding of industry standards and procedures
