NDT Radiographer Needed in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire
Are you a skilled NDT Radiographer looking for an exceptional career opportunity? This company, a leading manufacturer in the Aerospace/Defence sector, is seeking a talented individual to join their prestigious team in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire.
The NDT Radiographer Role
As an NDT Radiographer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of assemblies and components that will save lives worldwide. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing radiography using DR (Digital Radiography) and CT (Computed Tomography) to detect anomalies and incorrect assembly of components/Assemblies.
Conducting Leak Testing - Measuring the rate of escapement of helium from cartridges using a mass spectrometer.
Conforming to Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, Explosive Safety, Audits and Procedures.
Creating and driving a culture of continuous improvement using the 5S process.
Collaborating with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to overcome technical issues.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate for this NDT Radiographer role will possess the following qualifications and experience:
Level 1 Radiographer ASNT Certification
Experience in similar NDT roles
Proficiency in using a digital x-ray system
Experience in self-inspection
Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and relevant documentation
Understanding and interpretation of relevant test ATPs, QAI and relevant x-ray techniques
Qualified to NAS410
