NDT Radiographer (Level 1)  Location: Near Stadhampton, Oxfordshire Salary: Up to £36,000 + excellent benefits Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hours (2025): Monday to Thursday, 08:00–16:45 / Friday, 08:00–12:00 Hours (from 2026): 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, 07:00–16:30 (with shift allowance) Are you a Level 1 qualified NDT Radiographer looking to take your NDT experience into the aerospace and defence sector? We’re hiring for an NDT Radiographer to join a world-class manufacturer of precision safety equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with DR and CT systems, leak testing, and digital radiography – all in a structured and high-spec manufacturing environment. NDT Radiographer Benefits Competitive salary up to £36,000 (DOE) 9% non-contributory pension scheme Annual company performance bonus Healthcare Cash Plan & 4x Salary Life Assurance 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (option to buy extra) Cycle to Work Scheme Workplace Nursery Benefit Full training and development plans provided Lunchtime finish every Friday Future shift allowance when 4 on / 4 off pattern begins (Jan 2026)NDT Radiographer Duties Conduct radiography using DR and CT systems to detect anomalies in rocket and cartridge assemblies Perform leak testing using a helium mass spectrometer Interpret engineering drawings, ATPs and test documentation to ensure compliance Maintain records and provide data analysis where required Collaborate with production, QA/QC and engineering teams to resolve technical issues Support explosive safety standards, audits and risk assessments Drive 5S and continuous improvement culture within the NDT departmentNDT Radiographer Profile ASNT Level 1 Radiographer certification is essential Previous experience in NDT roles (aerospace, defence, automotive, etc.) Confident using digital X-ray equipment and interpreting technical drawings Comfortable performing self-inspection and data logging (SAP experience ideal) Reliable, methodical and safety-conscious with a proactive mindset Strong verbal communication and ability to work both independently and as part of a teamApplication Process: We aim to respond to all applicants within 5 working days.
