Adecco are recruiting for a skilled NDT Technician to join our client in Irvine on a permanent basis. Your role will be to carry out inspections using approved non-destructive examination (NDE) techniques. You will ensure materials meet required standards and are released without non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Key Responsibilities
Perform NDE inspections using approved methods and standards.
Ensure all inspected materials are released with zero NCRs.
Support the NDT Manager with training of staff and trainees.
Manage NDE consumables and ensure equipment is calibrated.
Participate in inspections involving third-party witnesses.
Required Competencies
Strong communication and decision-making skills.
Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Understanding of NDT specifications and procedures.
Flexible, adaptable, and able to meet tight deadlines.
Performance Expectations
Carry out in-house and on-site NDT inspections as required throughout the production process.
Maintain high standards to ensure all materials are inspected and released without NCRs.
Qualifications
PCN Level 2 certification.
Qualified in Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) as a minimum.
Ultrasonic Testing (UT) qualification is preferred.Please get in touch for a confidential chat.
