Neighbourhood Officer
Location: Milton Keynes, MK5
Job Type: Contract (3 months, likely to be extended)
Salary: PAYE £18.43 per hour, Umbrella £23.35 per hourWe are seeking a Neighbourhood Officer based in Milton Keynes to join a housing association. This role involves significant travel, and the successful candidate will be responsible for covering a patch that includes Milton Keynes and occasionally other areas such as Oxfordshire and Rugby. This position is ideal for someone with a background in housing and experience in handling anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases.
Day-to-day of the role:
Travel extensively across Milton Keynes and occasionally to areas like Oxfordshire and Rugby to provide cover for other offices during sickness and holidays.
Work closely with the Tenancy Specialist to visit residents and discuss maintaining their tenancy.
Address and manage cases of anti-social behaviour (ASB) effectively.
Ensure compliance with housing regulations and maintain high standards of tenant relations.
Conduct basic DBS checks as required for the role.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in social housing is essential.
Knowledge and experience dealing with anti-social behaviour (ASB) are highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Must be a driver with access to own car due to the travel requirements of the role.
