4 days a week, onsite in the Oxfordshire area
An exciting sporting entity is seeking problem solvers with a passion for crafting resilient networks, promoting connectivity, and pushing boundaries, ready to innovate where every challenge makes a difference.
Responsibilities:
* Design, maintain, and support a diverse set of network infrastructures, including core, data centre, and campus networks, firewalls, WAN, VPN, and wireless systems, ensuring secure, high-performance, and scalable solutions that meet current needs and future demands.
* Ownership of essential network services, including DNS, DHCP, Domains, Certificates, and Authentication.
* Providing escalation support and knowledge sharing across IT and the wider organisation.
* Driving efficiency by automating tasks and enabling smarter ways of working.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Advanced knowledge of Cisco and/or HPE Aruba network technologies.
* Expertise in next-generation firewalls, load balancing and security platforms.
* Familiarity with EVPN Fabric, Campus Networks, WiFi, and SD-WAN technologies.
* Strong experience implementing and managing enterprise networking, including full network replacements.
