New Product Development Floristry Designer Huntingdon | Full-Time | On-Site £40,000+ per annum, depending on experience Fulltime hours Monday – Friday   Are you a creative and commercially minded floristry designer with a passion for new product development? We are currently recruiting for an NPD Floristry Designer to join a thriving and fast-paced business. The role is fully site-based and would suit a driven individual with a flair for innovation and an understanding of market trends. The NPD Floristry Designer will play a central role in designing and developing innovative floral ranges for new and existing customers. This includes managing customer briefs, supporting commercial activities, and ensuring the seamless delivery of new product launches from concept to production. Working cross-functionally with key teams including commercial, procurement, and technical, you'll have the opportunity to lead on development accounts while being mentored by experienced Senior Designers on complex projects. Duties Deliver high-quality designs for both NPD and EPD (Existing Product Development) projects. Translate customer briefs into viable, manufacturable designs aligned with brand strategy. Manage timelines, customer expectations, and project deliverables in collaboration with internal teams. Own development accounts and customer gate sheets, ensuring designs are production-ready. Coordinate with packaging and artwork teams to deliver complete, accurate product presentations. Attend and present at feasibility and range review meetings with confidence and clarity. Conduct trend analysis and apply market insights to inspire new product concepts. Produce samples and support visual merchandising and customer engagement activities. Maintain accurate documentation, trackers, and reports related to development work. Support Senior Designers in larger-scale projects and contribute to overall department success.  The Candidate A strong interest in floristry, product design, and consumer trends. Experience in Handtied design Some experience in a similar NPD, design, or creative development role (floristry, horticulture, or gifting/FMCG sector ideal). Basic knowledge of cut flowers and floral design principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn additional project/design tools. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Customer-facing experience with confidence in presenting ideas and prototypes. A creative mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
