Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Night Shift Care Assistant to join our client's team at a well-established residential care service in Weymouth. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care and support to residents during the night, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide person-centred care to residents throughout the night, including assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort.
*
Carry out regular checks on residents and respond promptly to call bells and individual needs.
*
Record and report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the senior team.
*
Support residents with bedtime and morning routines as required.
*
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in line with health and safety regulations.
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency of care.
Hours of Work: 20:00 – 08:00
Requirements:
*
Caring, patient, and respectful approach
*
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service – required due to working with vulnerable individuals.
*
Up-to-date Care Certificates – preferred.
*
Prior experience in a care or support role is advantageous but not essential if you are passionate and willing to learn.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts.
