Night Drainage Engineer - 3pm-1am

Salary: £42,000–£49,000 per year + up to £15,000 overtime

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our team. The role involves drainage maintenance, CCTV surveys, plumbing repairs, pipework installations, and civil works across commercial and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Clear internal and external drainage blockages.

  * 

    Operate Picote 300 & 700 and Spartan root-cutting equipment.

  * 

    Carry out CCTV surveys, pipe tracing, and PPM cleans.

  * 

    Complete excavations, patch repairs, and drainage reinstatement works.

  * 

    Install, repair, and replace copper, cast iron, and plastic pipework.

  * 

    Undertake plumbing repairs, including valves, taps, cisterns, and urinal systems.

  * 

    Install and replace grease traps, Saniflo units, stack pipes, and suspended drainage systems.

  * 

    Remove and reinstate toilets and urinals to a high standard.

Requirements

  * 

    Proven experience in drainage and plumbing.

  * 

    Skilled in CCTV surveying and drainage fault finding.

  * 

    Experience with Picote and Spartan equipment.

  * 

    Strong knowledge of commercial and domestic pipework systems.

  * 

    Full UK driving licence.

  * 

    Ability to work independently and maintain high workmanship standards.
