Night Porter - Temporary Cover
📍 Location: Darlington
💷 Pay: £13.00 per hour, Weekly pay PAYE
🕙 Shifts: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 12th September
🕒 Hours: 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM
About the Role:
We're currently recruiting for a Night Porter to support a reputable hotel in Darlington. This is a temporary role covering six night shifts in September. You'll be the go-to person during the night, ensuring the hotel remains safe, clean, and welcoming for guests.
What You'll Be Doing:
Conduct regular safety and security checks throughout the building
Check in late-night guests and process payments
Serve drinks and assist guests in the Hub Bar
Maintain cleanliness in public areas and reception
Handle guest queries and provide excellent customer service
Answer and direct incoming calls
Support with light housekeeping and bar setup
Report any issues to the Operations Manager
Step in to support other departments if needed
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
Confident working independently overnight
Friendly, professional, and reliable
Good communication and basic IT skills
