What You Will Be Doing

As a Night Shift HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Fleet Technician you will be responsible for:

Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs, LGVs, trailers and fleet vehicles to DVSA and manufacturer standards
Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults efficiently as an experienced HGV Mechanic
Performing inspections, MOT preparation and compliance checks
Maintaining accurate job cards and service records throughout the night shift
Using diagnostic and workshop tools effectively
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure workshop productivity
Participating in ongoing technical training as a Night Shift HGV Technician

What You Will Need

To be considered as a Night Shift HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician or Fleet Technician you will need:

Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician or Fleet Technician within a commercial vehicle environment
Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
Full UK driving licence
HGV Class 1 licence, IRTEC accreditation and dealer-level diagnostics experience (desirable)
