Coventry
Up To £45k Plus Shift Allowance
Night Shift: Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm - 7:00am
Permanent position
Night Shift Manager required immediately for one of our clients based in Coventry.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Shift Manager to lead and manage the night shift operations across a few different departments to make sure that production is ran as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
The Job:
As the Night Shift Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting and leading both the assembly and dispatch departments. You'll be hands-on to ensure that all operations are completed safely and to the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and overseeing both the assembly and dispatch department
* Planning and managing the workload to meet strict delivery deadlines
* Supporting recruitment and providing training to all new staff members
* Ensure full compliance with company rules, policies and procedures
* Champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
* Driving a strong culture and maintaining housekeeping standards
We're looking for a proactive leader with:
* Strong people-management and leadership skills
* Proven ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
* Comprehensive knowledge of workplace safety regulations.
* Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
