Job Description
Machine Operator (Night Shift)
Location: Wolverhampton
Pay Rate: £16.24 per hour
Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm (12 weeks)
A busy and growing manufacturing company in the Wolverhampton area is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join their night shift team.
Shift Pattern:
* Monday to Thursday: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
* Occasionally: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, depending on business needs
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating punch press machines, manual machinery, and bending equipment
* Cutting materials to length using saws
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately
* Performing manual machining tasks and basic measurements/calculations
* Packing and preparing finished goods for dispatch
* Carrying out general labouring duties
* Manual handling and heavy lifting
Requirements:
* Proven experience operating various industrial machinery
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
* A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently
* Must be able to work permanent nights with the flexibility on shift times.
