Nightshift Despatch Operator - Inverness, UK
Join a dynamic and rapidly growing food production company based in Inverness, renowned for delivering high-quality products to customers. Our Client prides themselves on maintaining the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and efficiency.
This is initially a Temporary Contract. However there is potential the role could be a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities
Accurately prepare products for despatch, ensuring all orders are fulfilled correctly and efficiently.
Check product quality, packaging, and labelling to meet company and customer specifications.
Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation as required.
Follow all hygiene, food safety, and health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Keep the despatch area clean, organised, and fully stocked to facilitate smooth operations.
Ensure ingredients and supplies are readily available for production and despatch activities.
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience working night shifts is preferable but not essential.
Own transport is advantageous due to the late finish times.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking, packing, and labelling.
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and supervisors.
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working night shifts with varying days off, including one night off during the week and every Saturday off.
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards is desirable.
