Location: Birmingham (with in-person meetings at Holliday Street)
Remuneration: £5,300 per annum
Time Commitment: 2-3 days per month
Term: 3 years (renewable once, up to a maximum of 6 years)

Trident Group is seeking a Non-Executive Director to join our Group Board and contribute to the strategic leadership and governance of our organisation. With over 60 years of history, Trident provides housing, care, and support services to more than 7,000 people across 3,400 homes. With an annual turnover of more than £42m and owning assets of more than £190m, Trident Group's aim is to create thriving and prospering communities by being a beacon of hope to those we serve. As part of our ongoing succession planning, we are seeking an experienced Non-Executive Director to join our Group Board. These are challenging and exciting times for Trident Group, as economic pressures on our customers increase and the demand for our services continues to rise. This appointment not only demands a high level of commitment, but the expectation that successful candidate will contribute to developing and maintaining an effective and high performing Group Board.
As a Non-Executive Director, you will play a key role in:
Setting strategy, policy, and objectives
Overseeing financial controls and risk management
Supporting the development of a high-performing, inclusive Board
Championing our values: Trustworthy, Collaborative, Accountable, People-Focused, and CaringWe are particularly interested in individuals with experience in housing management, care and support services, or public sector leadership. However, we welcome applications from a broad range of backgrounds, especially those who bring diversity of thought and lived experience.
You may also be asked to serve on one of our specialist committees: Audit & Risk, People & Resources, Housing & Communities, or Investment.
