Job Description
We are looking for a Specialist Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join a dedicated substance misuse team in Durham.
In this role, you will support service users with substance misuse needs by conducting assessments, developing personalised prescribing plans, and managing Opiate Substitute Therapy. Additional responsibilities include supervised consumption, community alcohol detoxifications, phlebotomy, and dry blood spot testing.
Hourly Rate: £45.00 per hour
Schedule: Full Time / Monday to Friday
Contract Length: 6 months
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse or Pharmacist with an NMP qualification.
* Experience in substance misuse treatment and mental health prescribing.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding protocols and person-centred care.
* Ability to provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and supervision.
