Job Description
Band 7 Non-Medical Prescriber – Substance Misuse
Location: Staffordshire (various sites)
Pay Rate: £30 per hour
Contract Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Tripod Partners are seeking an experienced Band 7 NMP to support a community substance misuse service across Staffordshire.
Key Responsibilities:
-- Deliver clinical interventions to service users accessing drug and alcohol treatment
-- Prescribe for both Alcohol and Opiate Substitution Treatment
-- Conduct clinical reviews and manage caseloads
-- Operate independently, running own clinic post-induction
-- Maintain accurate records using clinical systems (Illy preferred, training provided)
-- Provide support around detox/rehab, harm reduction, BBVs, and NSP
Requirements:
-- Qualified NMP with valid NMC or HCPC registration
-- Proven experience in drug and alcohol services
-- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
-- Confident prescribing independently in substance misuse
-- Awareness of detox and rehabilitation pathways
