Job Description
Northamptonshire Childrens Trust is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team on a locum basis.
Title: Social Worker - Safeguarding Team
Location: The Abbey Centre, St John's Square, Daventry, NN11 4FP
Rate: £38 per hour
As a Children's Safeguarding Social Worker, you will have the responsibility of ensuring the safeguard-ing and welfare of vulnerable children and young people in Northamptonshire. You will work closely with families, children, and a range of professionals to assess, plan, and implement interventions that ensure the safety and well-being of those in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting assessments and identifying children at risk.
* Developing care plans and coordinating interventions to protect children.
* Working closely with families in crisis and offering the appropriate support.
* Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children.
* Delivering high-quality social work services that adhere to Northamptonshire Children's Trust's le-gal and statutory obligations.
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 1+ years experience as a social worker within childrens services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
