Job Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients located in Mildenhall who are looking to add an NPI Engineer to the team on a full-time basis.
Typical duties include:
* Assist with the design and development of existing and new tools.
* Oversee reviews with a view to improving and design and manufacturing processes.
* Carry out CMM measurements and prepare PPAP documentation when required.
* Work closely with the operations team for on CI projects.
* Perform visual inspections of samples for customer ISIR submissions.
* Lease with customers on any manufacturing or design queries.
* Support with prototype testing through to approval.
* Assist with maintenance when required.
You will have:
* 3+ years experience within manufacturing / fabrication.
* Experienced working from detailed engineering drawings.
* Experience with 3D CAD and Solidworks.
* Practical experience with use of PFMEA/DFMEA/Control plans & risk management techniques.
* Excellent communicational and organisations skills.
* Experience with project based work with APQP/PPAP requirements.
