Job Description
Our client, a leading organisation within London's Piublic Sector, is currently seeking a NRSWA/Street Works Inspector to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves ensuring compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) and maintaining the highest standards in street works within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspecting street works to ensure compliance with NRSWA regulations
Monitoring and evaluating the quality of works carried out by utility companies and contractors
Recording and reporting any non-compliance issues
Ensuring safety regulations and guidelines are met during street works
Liaising with contractors, utility companies, and internal teams to resolve issues
Conducting site visits and inspections
Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Attending regular meetings to provide updates on inspection outcomes
Job Requirements:
Experience in street works and a thorough understanding of NRSWA regulations
Ability to identify and report non-compliance issues efficiently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Understanding of safety regulations and guidelines in street works
Proficient in maintaining accurate and detailed records
