Kendal, Cumbria
£38,854 per annum (including bonus, plus overtime paid at an enhanced rate, plus benefits)
We’re representing a well-established packaging manufacturer based just outside Kendal, known for producing high-quality carton board packaging for over a century. With a strong heritage and a reputation for excellence, they are now looking to strengthen their print team.
A superb opportunity is available for an experienced Lithographic Printer – 1st Minder to operate a Roland 700 press on a rotating three-shift pattern (Mornings / Afternoons / Nights – Monday to Friday, no weekends).
What you’ll need:
Experience as a 1st Minder on multi-colour lithographic presses (preferably Roland 700)
Ability to lead press operations and ensure consistent high-quality output
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Good organisational skills with a flexible and proactive approach
Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping.What’s on offer:
Weekly pay: £663.13 base £84.07 weekly bonus
Equivalent to £38,854.40 per annum
Overtime paid at an enhanced rate
Monday to Friday shifts only – no weekends (unless overtime)
25 days Annual Leave Bank Holidays
Company pension and sick pay schemes (after qualifying period)
