Number 1 Litho Printer – Kendal, Cumbria

Join a business with over a century of print heritage, producing premium carton board packaging for some of the UK’s most recognisable brands. This well-established packaging manufacturer, based just outside Kendal, is renowned for its quality, reliability, and long-standing team – and now, they’re looking for an experienced 1st Minder to run their Roland 700 litho press.
The role:
You’ll be the lead operator on a multi-colour Roland 700 press, producing high-quality printed packaging on a three-shift rotation – but here’s the good news: it’s Monday to Friday only (no regular weekends).
Shift pattern:
Mon – Thu: 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm / 10pm–6am
Fri: 6am–11.30am / 11.30am–5pm / 5pm–10.30pm
What you’ll bring:
Proven experience as a 1st Minder on multi-colour lithographic presses
Ability to lead press operations, delivering consistent, high-quality output
Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail
A proactive approach with solid organisational skills
Commitment to high standards in safety, quality, and housekeeping

Weekly pay: £663.13 base £84.07 weekly bonus (equivalent to £38,854.40 per year)
