TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a lovely private day nursery located within Leeds (LS13). The nursery work hard to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the children to settle into, with engaging activities set up to capture their attention and help support different areas of their development. The nursery work hard to ensure that the safety of the children is paramount at all times, with thorough policies and procedures in place, helping develop the staffs’ understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.
The nursery are currently searching for a Nursery Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. The ideal applicant will have previous experience caring for young children who are aged 5 and under, and will be passionate about beginning a career within the Early Years sector. The successful Nursery Assistant will be able to provide 2 professional references, and will be happy to apply for an Enhanced DBS Certificate if they don’t have one already.
The successful Nursery Assistant will:
Be eager to develop their skills as a Nursery Assistant, and passionate about helping young children learn and develop new skills.
Be able to create different activities designed to support different areas of development.
Be a team player and eager to join a growing team.
