Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the daily care and supervision of children aged 0-5 years.
Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Assist with mealtimes, toileting, and personal care routines as required.
Contribute to observations and record-keeping of children's progress and achievements.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with parents and carers.
Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality policies at all times.
Person Specification
Essential
A genuine passion for working with young children.
Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, flexible, and willing to learn.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable
Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years Education (or working towards).
Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
Basic knowledge of the EYFS framework.
