Academics is seeking Nursery Assistants to support nurseries across Stockport and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting Early Years children (0-5 years)
Providing long-term or flexible cover, adapting to the specific needs of each nursery
Being adaptable to different environments
Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
Following daily routines and supporting mealtimes, toileting, and activities
Working alongside nursery staff and following the guidance of the Nursery Manager
Upholding high standards of safeguarding and child wellbeing
Engaging children in early years learning through creativity, play, and care
Role Requirements:
Level 3 Qualification or equivalent - desirable (Early Years Practitioner)
SEN experience (desirable)
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to process one)
Right to work in the UK
Previous experience working with young children
