As our Baby Room Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the baby room, ensuring that high standards of care, safety, and learning are maintained at all times. You will lead a small team of practitioners, providing guidance, support, and inspiration to ensure each child receives the best possible start in life.
Key responsibilities of the Baby Room Leader role include:
* Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning and development.
* Building positive and trusting relationships with babies, parents, and carers.
* Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records of children’s development.
* Leading, motivating, and mentoring your team to deliver outstanding care.
* Ensuring the baby room meets all safeguarding, health, and safety requirements.
The successful Baby Room Leader will have:
* A minimum of Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
* Previous experience working with babies and leading a team.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A warm, caring, and professional approach.
