Responsibilities Provide attentive and responsive care to children in the nursery, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Assist in managing daily routines and activities within the nursery setting. Support the implementation of early childhood education programmes tailored to individual children's needs. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children to explore and learn. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education. Experience & Requirements Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. A background in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous. The ability to manage groups of children effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for childcare and a commitment to fostering children's growth and development. Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to different nursery environments. Be able to travel to Ongar and surrounding areas. Understanding of safeguarding policies and health & safety regulations.
