Nursery Deputy Manager

Location: Alloa

Salary: Minimum £14 per hour (To be discussed in an interview)

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time

Little Stars Nursery is seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team in providing high-quality care and education to young children.

The Role

To support the manager in the smooth running of the setting this will include but is not inclusive of:

Demonstrating outstanding practice
Supporting the staff team in developing practise though modelling and or training
Liaising with parents and other professional agencies to support children’s learning
Reviewing policy and procedure and ensuring policy is followed at all times
Taking the lead in the absence of the manager
Understanding the needs of the business
To understand registers/booking systems including funding
To conduct supervision interviews and support staff to reach targets
Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification
Team player able to step into Managers role within 12 months
Management experience
Evidence of ongoing personal development training
Desire to continue with professional development
Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of child development and the EYFS
