Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join our friendly team in South Croydon. This is a room-based role, perfect for a hands-on leader who can combine excellent childcare with strong team support skills.

As a Nursery Deputy Manager, you will:
* Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery
* Lead and inspire your room team to deliver high-quality childcare and education
* Ensure all safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are followed
* Maintain accurate records and reports
* Step up to cover the Nursery Manager in their absence
Working Patterns:
* Option 1: Monday to Friday, fixed shifts of 07:15–17:00 and 09:00–18:45 (45 hours per week) Occasionally work 07:15–18:45 to cover staff sickness/holidays (overtime paid)
* Option 2: 4 days per week, shifts of 07:15–18:45 (42 hours per week)
Requirements for the Nursery Deputy Manager:
* Level 3 in Childcare (or higher) – essential
* Previous experience as a Nursery Deputy Manager
* Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team
* Strong communication and organisational skills
