About the Role
We are recruiting for a Nursery Manager to lead a large, well-established nursery in Sudbury, currently entering an exciting new phase.
This is a 172-place setting undergoing a full refurbishment, due for completion shortly, offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader to take ownership of a refreshed environment and shape the next chapter of the nursery.
You will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance and quality of the setting, supported by a wider team and clear operational structure.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading the day-to-day running of a large nursery setting
* Driving high standards of care, education and compliance
* Managing, supporting and developing a full staff team
* Overseeing occupancy, staffing levels and financial performance
* Building strong relationships with families and the local community
* Ensuring a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture
* Preparing for and maintaining strong Ofsted outcomes
About you
* Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
* Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or strong Deputy ready to step up
* Confident leading larger teams and managing operational performance
* Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
* Commercial awareness alongside a passion for quality childcare
* Driven, organised and able to lead from the front
