Are you a passionate and experienced nursery manager looking for your next exciting challenge? We are opening a beautiful new day nursery in the heart of Brockley SE4 and are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to help bring our vision to life.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to be part of something from the very beginning. As our Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in shaping a warm, nurturing, and inspiring environment for children to thrive. You’ll work closely with the Director to develop the setting, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained — while understanding and respecting that this is a collaborative leadership role, not one to take over.
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Nursery Manager in the UK
* A leader who is genuinely passionate about early years education and putting children first
* Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding procedures, and Ofsted expectations
* A team builder who leads with empathy, clarity, and professionalism
* Someone excited by the idea of helping to build a nursery culture from the ground up
* A manager who can balance operational excellence with warmth, creativity, and heart
Essential Requirements:
* Excellent professional references
* Enhanced DBS check
* Full knowledge and adherence to Safer Recruitment procedures
* Level 3 or above in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
* Right to work in the UK
