Pembury Nursery and Pre-School is a vibrant, much-loved setting in the heart of Hackney, just a short walk from Hackney Downs and Hackney Central station. This nursery supports circa 70 children and is a hub for the local community. Families and other local residents and businesses come to events, celebrate milestones, and support the nursery in return. That means your leadership will be felt far beyond the nursery walls.
We’re looking for a Nursery Manager who’s ready to hit the ground running — someone who can bring fresh energy, lift the team, and lead a nursery that has had a good reputation but which we want to make great again. The nursery is Ofsted-rated Outstanding, and we want to keep it that way. You’ll have the chance to make your mark, raise quality even further, and build a culture that inspires your team and earns the trust of the community.
We know how important support is. You’ll have an Area Manager, a network of Nursery Managers in your area, wider monthly manager meetings, and a central office team to help you meet your occupancy, recruitment, local community and quality goals. We’re looking for you to be Level 3+ qualified, with experience leading a larger nursery, and to be able to evidence how you build and maintain quality education and a strong team. You’ll be a high quality, credible leader ready to grow with us.
