The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead a vibrant early years Nursery. You’ll be at the heart of an exceptional team, driving high-quality education, ensuring safety.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coach a skilled team of early years practitioners.
* Promote play-based, curriculum-linked activities that stimulate curiosity and learning.
* Build strong partnerships with families and local services to support every child’s journey.
* Deliver regular staff training and supervisions.
* Maintain compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding regulations.
* Lead open days, parent visits, and manage daily nursery operations.
* Report regularly to the Trust Executive/Board.
Quality Education Leadership
* Oversee the implementation of the EYFS curriculum.
* Ensure robust, accurate child assessments.
* Support staff in delivering inclusive, engaging learning experiences.
* Promote healthy lifestyles and well-being among children.
* Maintain up-to-date policies, documentation, and standards.
Safeguarding & Health and Safety
* Be responsible for safeguarding and child protection across the nursery.
* Ensure all staff understand and meet safeguarding duties.
* Oversee daily health and safety, risk assessments, and equipment standards.
Communication & Relationships
* Professional, positive relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
* Clear, respectful communication within the team and with families.
* A culture of openness, feedback, and mutual respect.
What We’re Looking For
* A qualified Early Years professional (Level 3 or above)
* Experience in a senior nursery or early year’s role
* Strong leadership and coaching skills
* Deep understanding of child development and EYFS
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* A commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development
