Position - Nursery Nurse (Qualified to Level 3) -

Location - Sale, Greater Manchester (In person)

Requirements & Experience

  * 

    Qualification: Level 3 in childcare or Early Years Workforce (or equivalent: Diploma in Playgroup practice, NNEB, NVQIII).

  * 

    Childcare Experience: 2 years (required), with at least 3 years preferred in the full description.

  * 

    Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of EYFS and child development.

  * 

    Skills: Excellent written and oral English communication, ability to plan workloads and set priorities, experience in a multi-cultural environment, and experience working in a team/exercising leadership.

Main Duties

  * 

    Regularly review, develop, and monitor the curriculum and activities.

  * 

    Ensure the safety and well-being of children, maintaining appropriate records.

  * 

    Work as part of a team to deliver nurturing/recreational activities.

  * 

    Implement effective health and safety procedures.

  * 

    Assess, record, and report on children's development, progress, and attainment.

  * 

    Promote positive relationships between all adults and children.

  * 

    Ensure parents/carers are well informed of their children's progress.

  * 

    Monitor children for potential language delays or special needs and discuss concerns with the SENCO.

  * 

    Comply with all OFSTED requirements and nursery policies
