Nursery Nurse
Academics are currently recruiting for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse to join friendly, supportive, and well-established nursery teams within welcoming early years settings across East Kent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with children aged birth to five who thrives in a nurturing and busy nursery environment and enjoys making a real difference each day as a Nursery Nurse across Kent.
The Role
As a Nursery Nurse, you will:
Provide high-quality care and early education in line with the EYFS framework
Create a stimulating, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Observe, plan, and assess children's development using Development Matters (2023)
Support key worker responsibilities and contribute to learning journeys
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues within supportive nursery settings across Kent
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
Hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification
Have recent experience working within a nursery or similar early years setting
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development
Be confident completing observations, planning activities, and supporting next steps in learning
Be proactive, caring, and a strong team player
