Are you a nurturing, enthusiastic childcare professional who loves supporting young children as they grow and learn?
Zest Education is proud to be working with a wonderful nursery school in the Handsworth area, and we are currently recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real difference in early childhood development while enjoying a better work-life balance.
About the Role:
In this role, you will be supporting children aged 0–5 years, providing a warm and secure environment where they can develop socially, emotionally, and intellectually.
You will:
✅ Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
✅ Support children’s personal, social, and language development through play and structured learning
✅ Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
✅ Monitor progress and contribute to observations and reports on children’s development
✅ Ensure the nursery environment remains clean, safe, and stimulating at all times
✅ Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures consistently
Key Details:
📅 Part-time – 3 days per week (on a rota basis, Monday to Friday)
⏰ Flexible hours between 8:00am and 5:00pm
📍 Based in a warm, welcoming nursery in Handsworth
💼 Ongoing opportunity with the potential for long-term work
Requirements:
✔ A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)
✔ Recent experience in an early years setting (with references)
✔ A caring, positive, and flexible attitude
✔ A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child safeguarding
