Job Description
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a friendly early years team in August 2025. You will play a vital role in providing a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children aged [0–5 years].
Duties as Nursery Nurse:
Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Plan and deliver fun and engaging activities to promote physical, emotional and social development.
Observe, assess and record each child’s progress.
Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean and welcoming at all times.
Work as part of a team to maintain high standards of care and education.
Ideal Nursery Nurse:
Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education (or equivalent).
Previous experience working with babies and young children in a nursery or similar setting.
A warm, caring and patient nature.
Good communication and teamwork skills as a Nursery Nurse.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
