Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
Birkenhead, Wirral
Part-Time (3 or 4 Days Per Week)
A warm and welcoming early years setting in Birkenhead is recruiting for two Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join their friendly team. One position is for 4 days per week, and the other for 3 days per week. Both roles offer a supportive working environment, strong team culture and ongoing opportunities to develop your skills.
About the Role
Practitioners work either 27–36 hours per week depending on the number of days. Shifts are set within nursery opening hours and include a part-paid lunch break. You will be based in either the baby room or toddler room, depending on your experience and preference.
The nursery cares for 53 children across 3 rooms, with a team of 10 staff who work closely together. All children and staff know each other well, creating a genuine “family feel” within the setting.
What We’re Looking For
Candidates must hold a Level 3 childcare qualification. The setting is looking for someone warm, caring, reliable and confident supporting children aged 0–3. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential, along with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for early years development.
Pay, Holidays & Benefits
Pay ranges from £12.21–£12.50 per hour, depending on experience.
Holiday allowance is 20 days pro rata, plus bank holidays and a Christmas closure.
