Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
Location: Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12pm–6pm
Contract: Long-term placement with the potential to become permanent
Start date: September 2026
Working year: 46 weeks per year
The Opportunity
EduTalent Group is recruiting a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for a large and successful primary school with its own on-site nursery in Bexhill-on-Sea.
The position will initially be offered as a long-term placement, with the potential to become permanent if the placement is successful.
This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic practitioner who enjoys supporting young children’s learning, development and wellbeing within a nurturing Early Years environment.
About the Setting
The nursery is part of a large, three-form-entry primary school rather than a standalone private nursery. It provides Early Years education and care for children aged 2–4 and benefits from the facilities, resources and support available within the wider school.
It is a newly developed and thoughtfully planned setting with high-quality resources, a vibrant indoor learning space and a dedicated outdoor classroom.
The school is described as a warm, welcoming and nurturing community where children are placed at the heart of everything it does. The nursery has a caring and skilled team of qualified practitioners, led by an experienced teacher with a strong understanding of early childhood development.
The environment is designed to help children develop their confidence, curiosity and independence. Staff create engaging activities based on children’s individual interests, abilities and developmental needs.
The successful practitioner will join a supportive and collaborative team that values positive relationships with children and families, inclusive practice and continuous professional development.
Working Pattern
The hours are 12pm–6pm, Monday to Friday.
The nursery operates for 46 weeks of the year. It closes during the October, December and February school holidays but remains open during the April and May holidays and for approximately four and a half weeks of the summer.
