Job Opportunity: Nursery Practitioner – Full-Time, Permanent  Location: Chelmsford Position: Nursery Practitioner Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Start Date: Immediate start preferred, but flexible for the right candidate Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking to make a lasting difference in young lives? We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and professional team at our well-established nursery in Chelmsford. About the Role: As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5. You'll work as part of a team to create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment that encourages children’s development in line with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework. Responsibilities: Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s development across all areas of learning Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and share this with parents/carers Support children’s emotional, physical, and social development Maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive learning environment Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure the welfare of all children Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of nursery life Work as part of a team to meet the needs of the setting and contribute to a positive working environment Qualifications & Requirements: A minimum of Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent) Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting Excellent communication and teamwork skills A warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) Paediatric First Aid certification (desirable, but training can be provided) Working Hours: This is a full-time, permanent position. Exact working hours will be discussed during the interview but will be within standard nursery operating hours (typically between 7:30am – 6:00pm).
